About me

I am a fully qualified teacher with 16 years classroom and private tutoring experience. I am based in Colchester and tutor both face-to-face and online. I love classroom teaching, but revel in the rate of progress that can be achieved in 1:1 and small group tutoring. Many tutees are surprised by how quickly their learning slots into place and even more surprised to find out they actually enjoy their sessions!

What I offer

Whether you’re looking for one-off tuition in the run up to an exam or regular sessions to build academic confidence and supplement in-school or home-based learning, I will plan and provide tailor-made sessions in an approachable and relaxed setting.

I offer face-to-face sessions from a designated area in my home and provide all the equipment needed. Due to demand, I am also beginning to offer some online tutoring sessions.

Teaching without learning is a waste of time. As such I ensure that my teaching methods are adapted to the needs of every learner. I am skilled and experienced in supporting children with Special Educational Needs including ADD, ADHD and ASD.
